Hari Sabzi Wala ("we", "us") runs this website and delivers fresh vegetables in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This page explains what we collect and why. We keep it short and honest — the same way we sell sabzi.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, mobile number, delivery address, the items you order, payment method and delivery slot. We need these to deliver your order and to reach you if something changes.
- Location — when you allow it, your device's GPS position, so we can check that you are inside our delivery area and guide the delivery boy. You can refuse and type your address instead.
- Account details — if you create an account: your email address, a password (stored only as a one-way hash), saved addresses, and your order history. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us; we never see your Google password.
- Messages — anything you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp or reviews.
- Usage data — standard analytics (pages visited, device type) through Google Analytics / Meta Pixel when enabled, and technical logs (IP address, time) that help us stop spam and fraud.
How we use it
- To take, pack, deliver and support your order, including calls or WhatsApp messages about it.
- To send you one-time codes for login and password reset by email or SMS.
- To show you your past orders, saved addresses and saved items.
- To send today's rates or offers on WhatsApp only if you subscribed — reply STOP or tell us and we remove you.
- To improve the shop: which products sell, which pages work, where deliveries slow down.
Who we share it with
Only the people and services needed to serve you: our delivery boys (name, phone, address and location for your order), our SMS / email providers (to send codes), payment services when you pay online, and Google / Meta for analytics if enabled. We never sell your data and we do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
Cookies and storage
Your cart, language choice, saved location and login session are kept in your browser's local storage so the site works fast and offline. Analytics cookies are set only by the analytics tools mentioned above. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Your choices
- Order as a guest — no account is required.
- Delete saved data on your device from My Account, or ask us to delete your account and history: message us on WhatsApp or email and we do it within 7 days (order records needed for accounts and tax are kept as the law requires).
- Turn off location at any time in your browser settings.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, login codes expire in minutes, and our admin panel uses two-step login. No system is perfect — if you spot a problem, please tell us first.
